CJW Product Design

Lux, is a bedroom ceiling light that was produced as a design concept for IKEA.

 

The design concept is unorthodox as it features a motor and does not use traditional lightbulbs but instead uses two modified LED usb lamps that could last for 1041 days, while other parts were adapted from other products that were external from IKEA.

These parts enabled the motor with the design to remote controlled, as an on/off switch was not practical for the design.
